Bridelope is actually the oldest Teutonic word for “wedding.” (I promise that’s not something I made up after binge-watching historical dramas). I chose it after reading countless stories from Valley couples who felt judged for their bodies, or just being themselves, I knew the wedding industry needed a shake-up.
My weekend gig working for an Ottawa wedding florist taught me everything from timelines to teardown, but it was local couples’ experiences that inspired this space, where everybody is celebrated, designer dreams are attainable, and love stories get told without having to fit someone else’s mould.
